OUR PROGRAM IS DESIGNED FOR OPTIMAL FUN AND LEARNING

Weber’s Bulldog Basketball Camp is open to boys and girls ages 6 to 14 years old with players’ skill levels range from beginners to avid players. Weekly focus is on enjoying the game while developing skills. Campers are taught basic basketball fundamentals during structured, competitive settings in week-long sessions.

This widely popular, entertaining, and award-winning youth basketball camp has been operating at Annapolis Area Christian School since 1998.  Here, children hone their individual skills as well as improve in team play.

Lead by coach Bill Weber and a team of former and current collegiate basketball players, this camp has been a trusted favorite for hundreds of Annapolis parents over two decades.

Talks may be presented by guest speakers, such as current or former pro athletes and coaches. Past speakers have included: Former Maryland player Derek Lewis and NBA star Rudy Gay.

  • Campers spend a small portion of the day outside, weather permitting.
  • 30-min resting period where a sports video will be shown.
  • Specials Awards for outstanding campers, teams, and sportsmanship
  • List of daily workout drills to continue improvement after camp
  • Campers receive a report card at the end of the week with evaluation from their coach
  • A camp t-shirt for every attendee

Bill Weber has been coaching youth basketball in the Annapolis area for over 20 years. A former high school and collegiate basketball player, Coach Weber was a member of the Washington College Varsity Basketball Team in Chestertown, MD. There, he competed in the Division III NCAA Final Four. He then transferred to Shepherd College, where he earned an athletic scholarship and a position on the Division II Varsity Basketball Team. Coach Weber now works full-time as the Assistant Principal of Student Affairs at Archbishop Spalding High School in Severn, Maryland. He lives on Kent Island with his wife and children and now enjoys coaching his son and daughter’s rec sports and travel teams.
